[Inspire] Color Combinations of the Season


Not only has Spring/Summer 2013 brought in some new trends, but also a fresh palette of captivating color combinations. With the relaxed mood of the season and an excess of too much time for some, experimenting with colors could be a surprisingly fruitful way to 'waste' your time. Here are a few inspiration boards to hopefully spark a moment of epiphany in your minds. 


BRIGHT ORANGE AND PINK - A pairing of two very bold colors, which definitely define the spirit of summer.


YELLOW AND TURQUOISE - This combination took me a while to accept and I found it quite a strange mix of hues in the beginning. I think the key is to combine 80% of one of the colors and 20% of the other in your outfit. That way, they won't end up clashing.


PURPLE AND SCARLET - Both striking and vivid shades that will definitely turn heads. Surely, an interesting grouping that indubitably works.

    I love the color palette. Personally, I like the first color combination the best, clean bright contrast. Thanks for the inspiring article but wish the fonts can be bigger. Do not wish to wear glasses before I turn 25.
